SCSSV Leak Repair
SEALMAKER sealants are designed specifically for SCSSV and DHSV leaks with the most effective proven sealants available today. SEALMAKER is a patented technology that is being used around the world to solve down-hole safety valve leaks and insert valve leaks including extensive use on subsea wells. The ability to chemically repair a down-hole safety valve leak in a matter of hours and to be able to bring a well back online quickly equates to massive cost savings for the client.
SEALMAKER is compatible with any type of hydraulic fluid system and with its inherent property to remain liquid until exposed to a leak path, makes it ideal for these applications. The outstanding physical properties of the resulting seal that is created give you the confidence to know that the leak has been fixed and the system restored to full operational capability, as high as 20,000-psi and operating temperatures in excess of 700ºF.
Our repairs have another unique property unlike any other. SEALMAKER has a strong fibrillating characteristic during activation within a leak path. This means that the final seal developed comprises tightly intertwined fibrils which give it strength in all directions and that you will be able to pressure test your annulus in the opposite direction that the seal was set and not have to worry about it failing while it bonds tenaciously to the leak path walls. With SEALMAKER you maintain full functionality of the entire wellbore and do not have to develop special procedures after a repair has been made.
SEALMAKER is easy to apply in the field. The normal procedure is to provide our local personnel with the leak information known. We generally need the leak rate, pressure information, normal operating pressure, hydraulic fluid type, control-line size, wall thickness, and SCSSV. We can then prepare a technical proposal including procedure, equipment list, and chemical list, and then issue a commercial proposal given the leak condition and upon approval begin the mobilization process. We have the personnel, equipment, & chemicals stationed around the world to ensure a rapid response time. Everything will then be mobilized to the job site and our highly experienced crews take over to apply the chemicals to the well and get it fixed. After treatment is complete and the leak has been sealed, the valve is typically cycled to ensure it is functioning properly, then the well is placed back online as quickly as possible and you are back on production, quickly, easily, and efficiently.
Wellhead Leak Repair
SEALMAKER sealants are formulated for wellhead leaks of all types, elastomeric, metal-to-metal, and all combinations therein. Wellhead leaks are common with the temperature and pressure variations combined with vibration and corrosion, which amplifies the degradation of the seals, allowing pressures to communicate across the seals, and into the adjacent annuli.

SEALMAKER's patented technology can not only restore the wellhead seals to regain well integrity, but they offer additional corrosion protection by coating the internal components. The best benefit is that the void area is not compromised and the full functionality of the wellhead remains to allow you to continue to test the voids normally. The ability to chemically repair wellhead leaks in a matter of hours and to be able to bring a well back online quickly saves you time and money eliminating the need to perform a major workover in a fraction of the time. The outstanding physical properties of the resulting seal that is created give you the confidence to know that the leak has been fixed and the system restored to full operational capability, as high as 20,000-psi and operating temperatures in excess of 700ºF.

Casing Leak Repair
SEALMAKER provides a full line of casing repair solutions for nearly any downhole condition to quickly and efficiently restore integrity to the casing. Applications can be designed after a thorough analysis of the downhole condition, leak severity, leak depth, and wellbore construction. SEALMAKER CRS can be designed specifically for each wellbore and can easily be modified in the field if the conditions change. SEALMAKER CRS can be deployed on the primary production annulus to repair not only casing leaks, but PBR's and packer leaks as well. Outer annuli and micro-annulus leaks can also be repaired with CRS.
Deployment:
SEALMAKER CRS can be deployed by several methods depending on the construction of the production string. Sliding Sleeves can be shifted open to allow circulation into the leak point or the Gas Lift Valves can be configured to allow displacement to the desired depth. In many cases, especially in shallow leak instances, the chemicals can be bullheaded directly to the leak.
Results:
The ability to chemically repair leaks in a matter of hours and to be able to bring a well back online quickly saves you time and money eliminating the need to perform a major workover in a fraction of the time. SEALMAKER CRS has a 24-year PROVEN track record consistently delivering results and restoring production eliminating the need for a costly workover.
Performance:
The outstanding physical properties of CRS give you the confidence to know that the leak will be fixed and the well restored to full operational capability to pressures as high as 15,000-psi and it can withstand operating temperatures over 700ºF. Inert after reaction, SEALMAKER CRS is not affected by H2S or CO2 resulting in a long-term permanent repair.
